Year 7 Have a Whale of a Time at the Natural History Museum
By Sophia L-K, Year 7
Last week the whole of Year 7 went on a trip to the Natural History Museum. The day was very exciting and I learnt so many new facts. There were several ancient artefacts ranging from ginormous skeletons to tiny fossils. I found the Wildlife Photography Exhibition inspiring as the photos showed incredible detail and also all had a strong message. It was also useful to have booklets so we could explore things more deeply. One of my favourite places in the Natural History Museum is where you can experience a mini earthquake as the platform shakes a little and there is a small screen showing how an earthquake would happen in reality.
Overall the trip was great fun and came away having learnt something new.
